Start your Thanksgiving morning with purpose. Join Diakonia for our 4th Annual Turkey Trot—an energizing 5K Fun Run & Walk along the Ocean City Boardwalk that supports our mission to provide food, shelter, and critical resources to those in need across Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

This is a dog-friendly event.

Individual Tickets

  • Early Bird: $30 (must register by October 14)
    Guaranteed t-shirt size if registered by deadline
  • General:
    • $35 (before November 20)
    • $40 (day-of, until 9:00 AM)

Team Sign-Up
To join or form a team, simply purchase an individual ticket and enter your team name during registration.
Top teams will be recognized for the most funds raised and for completing the event together.


Event Highlights

  • Music, Thanksgiving Day fun & Registration starting at 8:00 AM
  • Runners start at 9AM & Walkers start at 9:05AM
  • Turkey Day costume contests for individuals, families, and pets prior to race time!
  • Prizes awarded for the costume contest winners and the runners in every category!
  • Complimentary t-shirts for the first 250 participants
    (Guaranteed t-shirt sizes for those registered by October 14)
