Diakonia is the only comprehensive provider of emergency services for men, women, and families on the Lower Shore of Md. Diakonia has 3 sites; main site which has 2 buildings providing emergency housing and food pantry, Thrift store, and Administrative/Veteran service offices.

Diakonia is able to provide all these services through the support of our; local community, individual, business, local United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, churches, private foundations and civic groups. Our services are also funded through local government, State and Federal grants. Please know that each and every gift helps Diakonia support a homeless person(s) or family in need.
